Shredding at The Goodwill

I've wanted to blog about this great shredding resource for awhile now so here goes. At Goodwill Industries in Los Angeles you can fill up to two 64 gallon trash receptacles for $30 with papers/documents to shred. I recently took six bankers boxes filled with shredding materials to Goodwill and I didn't even fill one bin.

A reminder though, it's actually easier if you pay by check rather than cash. I brought cash and had to walk through the warehouse, up two floors, to the cashier to give him my cash since the shredding department can't accept cash.

The best part about going to Goodwill Industries is seeing how they are providing jobs for the disabled in so many ways. Give it a try sometime.

This is fantastic. I wonder if they do it here in Cincinnati?
