The National Association of Professional Organizers, of which I am a member, defines a professional organizer as someone who enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using organizing principles and through organizing skills. A professional organizer also educates the public on organizing solutions and resulting benefits.
I am primarily a residential organizer who specializes in organizing kitchens, closets, home offices, garages, children's rooms, craft spaces and media centers.
I will provide a one-time, one-hour paid consultation visit during which time I will tour the area which you would like organized and discuss your uses, problems, and goals for the space. I will make notations of ideas and organizing strategies and sit down with you to discuss my plans and goals for the organization of your space, including an estimate of the time it will take to complete the project.
I ask that my clients plan on being present during the entire organizing process so that they can learn to incorporate the ideas and systems that I implement for their space. The client needs to understand and be a part of the process so that they can continue to be successful after the job is completed.
Please contact me at wendylmc@aol.com to discuss my hourly fee. This fee is payable at the end of each work day (minimum of three hours per day) and does not include supplies such as file folders, pendaflex files, organizing systems (such as file cabinets, desk top file systems, shelving). Shopping time will be charged by the hour at my hourly fee.
